A Letter from the Incoming President
Bowlers of Morris County:
It is truly an honor and a privilege to stand before you today as the incoming President of the Morris County NJ USBC Association. I am humbled by the confidence you have placed in me, and I accept this responsibility with gratitude, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to serving every member of our bowling community.
Our association has been built by dedicated volunteers, passionate bowlers, and leaders who have given countless hours to ensure that the sport we all love continues to thrive. I want to thank those who came before me for laying the foundation upon which we will continue to build.
As I begin my term as President, I want to make one thing clear: this administration will be defined by teamwork, transparency, and action. Success will not belong to one personβit will belong to all of us. Together, we have an opportunity to strengthen our association, support our centers, encourage our youth bowlers, recognize our veterans, and create more opportunities for every member to enjoy competitive bowling and fellowship.
My administration will focus on several key priorities.
First, we will listen. Every bowler, league officer, tournament participant, and volunteer deserves to have a voice. The best ideas often come from those on the lanes every week, and I want our members to know that their opinions matter.
Second, we will continue to improve our tournaments and programs. We will work to provide well-organized events, fair competition, and experiences that bowlers look forward to returning to year after year. We want Morris County to be known as an association that sets the standard for excellence.
Third, we will invest in the future of bowling. Our youth bowlers are the next generation of champions, coaches, and association leaders. By supporting them today, we ensure the continued success of our sport tomorrow.
Finally, we will strengthen relationships throughout our bowling community. Success comes when bowling centers, proprietors, league officers, volunteers, and bowlers work together with a common purpose. I believe we can accomplish more by working together than any one of us could ever accomplish alone.
I also recognize that leadership is not about titles. Leadership is about service. It is about showing up, listening, solving problems, and earning trust through our actions. That is the standard I will hold myself to every day.
I am fortunate to have an outstanding Board of Directors serving alongside me. Their experience, dedication, and love for the sport will help guide our association forward. Together, we will make decisions that are thoughtful, responsible, and always in the best interests of our members.
The future of the Morris County NJ USBC Association is bright. I believe we have the talent, the passion, and the commitment to make our association stronger than ever before. While there will certainly be challenges along the way, I have complete confidence that by working togetherβwith respect, integrity, and a shared visionβwe will continue to grow and achieve great things.
Thank you again for this incredible opportunity. I look forward to serving each and every one of you. Let's work together to make the coming years a time of growth, pride, and success for the Morris County NJ USBC Association.
Thank you, and good bowling to all.
Jim Testa
