Our youth bowlers are the future of the sport
of bowling!
The Morris County NJ USBC is proud of its youth programs. From Youth
leagues, to Youth and Adult/Youth Tournaments. All of our Board
members are
SafeSport Trained and Certified, and are members of the
Registered Volunteer Program.
USBC created the Registered Volunteer Program (RVP) to assure
parents that we provide as safe an environment as possible for USBC
youth. The program ensures that any volunteers who work with USBC
Youth are qualified to do so, and gives proprietors, coaches and
prospective volunteers alike an opportunity to demonstrate their
commitment to the safety of youth bowlers by either registering in
the program themselves or inviting registered volunteers to take
part in local USBC Youth activities.

SMART Scholarship
Programs
USBC, through the SMART program, offers over $7 million in
scholarships each season to help young bowlers achieve their
educational goals, with SMART providing centralized management and
protection of scholarship funds since 1994.
SMART, which stands for Scholarship Management and Account Reporting
for Tenpins, is a program that began operation in 1994 as a service
offering the bowling community a centralized location to manage
bowling scholarship funds as well as providing USBC members with a
resource for inquiries about bowling scholarships. In 2010, the
SMART Bowling Scholarship Funding Corporation was created as an
independent entity dedicated to the management, protection and
promotion of the SMART scholarship funds.
SMART oversees bowling organizations' scholarship funds for
individuals who have earned scholarships. USBC's SMART staff
provides complimentary assistance for recipients and providers.
SMART MISSION
In order to help youth bowlers achieve their educational goals and
reach their full potential, we will provide effective and convenient
access, safekeeping and prudent management of all scholarship funds
until distributed to youth bowlers in compliance with all required
regulations.
SMART VISION
To be the premier custodian of youth scholarship funds in bowling,
admired for its efficiency, transparency and friendly and responsive
service.
